Education Through Music – Los Angeles
#ETMLAGala
Education Through Music-Los Angeles provides music teachers and programs to schools in LA that have had budget cuts and otherwise would not offer music to the students. They know that music is a fundamental part of the core curriculum for every child to enhance students’ academic achievement, creativity, and overall development.
In 2015, the 10th ETM-LA Anniversary Gala honored Randy Spendlove, musician, philanthropist and oh yeah, President of Motion Picture Music at Paramount Pictures (there’s that)! Erik McCormick was a dynamic host and Common presented. The ETM-LA student choir sang Glory, that won a Grammy the very next day. These are the meaningful moments of connection we strive to co-create with our clients.
In 2016, eee was honored to return to produce the 11th gala, this time honoring Ed Helms who is a tremendous talent on the banjo! Andy Richter was a hysterically funny host and Christina Applegate and Angela Kinsey presented. Moby, Lisa Loeb and Dustbowl Revival enriched the evening with musical performances. Together, we raised half a million dollars that will give the gift of music to children all over LA.
